Nothing any more significant than 2008, 2004, 2000, 1996, etc. They are leap years on the Gregorian calendar, US presidents are elected, etc. There is some nonsense about the Mayan calendar predicting the end of the world then. Nuts will never learn, regardless of the hundreds of such predictions that've been made for centuries and all been wrong as this one will be.

IN the last show of the X-files they name that 12 October 2012
the Alien race will try to take over the earth
Many other profits say that the end of the earth is about that time
Many believe the last pope in the bible will die on that date
who knows
May be it is like the millennium bug just a little bit late
any way live if as we know it is supose to change we will only see when we get there

Apparently, the end of the world. That's what the Mayan calender says, and, apparently, lots of prophocies now are being fullfilled from the end of both the Quran and the Bible. Creepy, isn't it?

I will be 38 years old :) ..................... Wow..........I can't believe I just typed that................This just can't be........38?............(I still think my dad is 38)...............I'm, like, getting, um, like, uh, old, or something.............I think I like the end of the world idea better.
