Tell me your thoughts on this like do you think it'r right to say some ones a goth just because they listen to a certin type of music something like that.

Yes, that is stupid, to judge somebody just by the music he listens.

I think it's not stupid at all. Music shows a person interest and moods. It shows a lot about a person's personality and state of mind. Sometimes subconsciously we listen to music without realizing that the music is a mirror of our exact mindset at that moment in time.

yeah. i think it's wrong too
all of my friends listen to music that is the total opposite of their personalities so if someone judged them by their music they would get an image of a totally different person.

i think its wrong. like i ahvea bunch of friends who listen to a buncha weird stuff and theyre not catagorized. i hate it when people catergorize
like i know people who always get called scene kids or emos
its so dumb.
take me for example.i listen to emo music but that doesnt make me emo

I listen to pretty much all kinds of music, except for the really stupid stuff marketed to teenagers and frat boys. So, yeah, music doesn't define who you are. It just shows what you like.

No that's wrong, deffinately wrong, because if that were true i would be so screwed up ;p Rob Zombie isn't stereotypically listened to by someone like me.

i think its stupid. i listen to rap (Eminem, Tupac, B. I. G., DMX, Ludacris, etc), but i dont think its alright to do drivebys or slap hos or sling drugs (even though not all raps like that)
i also listen to rock (Slipknot, Korn, Lamb of God, Godsmack, etc), but i dont think everybody needs to die (a heavy metal idea...dont ask me where that came from)
i also like reggae (Jamaican stuff) and jam bands (think Greatfull Dead) doesnt mean im a hippie Jamaican! (no offense to hippies, the most mellow laid back people i know, or Jamaicans, who got a crazy cool accent)
