Girlfriends into pain!
Don't listen to those, "you'll grow to regret it." I swore all my life I'd never get a tattoo, when I finally did, I loved it and I've never, ever regretted it in 17 years, not once. There are sites online that show peoples designs. Are you looking for a Tribal (all black?) or a colorful one? Perhaps you can look around and find something meaningful to you that the Tattoo Artist can enlarge for you (or shrink) remember THEY ARE ARTISTS! So, if you can't find anything and only have an idea, take it to one and ask if they can make it for you, chances are - THEY CAN!

There are a lot of Web pages with some beautiful Tattoo designs, have a browse through and then any you like print off.
Or, check out the work books of any Tattooist you are likely to be using, and also talk to them in person, as they probably have their own Portfolio of designs.
Do go to a good Tattooist though!

Piano keys with rose petals would be pretty.
Just remember that one day you will want to wear a fancy dress to your husband's promotion party and won't want to look like a biker chick. Trust me. Keep your tats in a place where they can be covered when you need them to be.

Most people...grow to regret their tattoos...
It's going to get in the way of a lot of things you're going to want to wear...If you want a tattoo...you should get it in a place that's not visible...LOL...Even if in a way...it defies the purpose...
But like...I wanna get one really low on my hip...Like...so low...you won't even be able to see it with a bathing suit...of something meaningful.

iv got a celtic design on my lower back, i think something in this category is best, or small flowers or stars, depends what your into i suppose :)
