okay. me and my friend dated for a while. but then i decided things were gettin to serious. so i told him that i wanted to be friends for a while. i don't know. maybe some other guy might come along and i don't want to be unavailable if the opportunity arrives. but now he calls me like 8-10 times a day. when i tell him what he does wrong he cries. he really isn't a whiny kind of guy. he's a farm boy...buff...and could be at ease with getting another girl. why me?! why can't he move on?! plz help.

he loves you and don't want to loose you. it doesnt feel right for him to move on, he wants to try and smooth things over with you first. if you really don't want to be with him you need to sit down and tell him that there is no chance of you two ever getting back together and that he needs to move on because that is what you plan on doin.

IT may be because you started off as friends then you started dating .Usually relationships like that are harder to let go of you could've been his first love he couldn't possibly Find another lover and a freind like you is what he's thinking because he's afriad of moving on .Sometimes guys attach there selfs to women because there afraid of trying to start all over with a new one .So you got to cut him off be his freind only .Let him know that your heart isn't in the relationship anymore and he has to move on .Don't date him or deal with him in any type of intimate way that would only confuse him and make him think you still want him .So you have to let go also stop answering calls if that's what it taks just don't get caught back up in the web of Trickery if you want to go, then go !he'll get the picture after awhile that's it's over .

He really loves you appearantly. Talk to him. Not over the phone, but at a nice and quiet place. Tell him how you feel, and say you still want to be friends. Good Luck. :]

he likes you still... you led him on and now hes trying to get you back because he felt he was doing something wrong. you need to talk to him about this... and dont do it in a jr. high kinda way, not over the phone or through a note or on the internet... talk to him face to face... good luck=]

maybe you shouldn't of led him on! girls like you need to feel better about themselves so they temporally attach them self to one of there guy friends...and now he probably feels like crap thanks to you and your indecisiveness
