She has always been interested in it, and I KNOW she's gorgeous enough to do it. But is her height and weight about right do you think? how and what can she do to start in the business? (she's 18)

i think she has da perfect qualifications i think she should search ont he internet or sumwhere near you for modeling oppertunities for amateur models and i think that's how you could start int he business

Still depends on the way her body looks. For instance they dont want models with big butts or boobs, because they are hard to fit into the size 0 or 2 dresses. Her weight is good and if she has long legs then I say go for it. Its worth a shot.

Well, she wouldn't be allowed to model in Spain, since the ban on underweight models, but I'm sure she would have no problem getting work in the US, as long as she fits all the other criterea associated with modelling. Good luck : )

Modeling has a lot more to do than just good looks. In order to be a succesful model, she must have the right attitude and personality. She must be confident, sassy, etc... She must enjoy what shes doing. So yes, looks are part of it but thats not all. Does anyone agree with me?

sure! but measurements and height are not the only thing associated with modeling. that is just the start. modeling can be really hard work. most models go through etiquette schooling which is not as easy as it looks.

How and what she can do is contact a modelling agency and/or attend a modelling school. She will need to learn makeup for photography, which is quite different than street makeup, and to learn presentation, among other things.

Today models are all super thin and your sis sounds healthy thin so maybe she can model in Spain cause now they have healthy thin models but she sound like she could be one and make sure she doesn't get an eating disorder because those models are ruining the girls of america.

Yes she could, sh'd have to have professional pictures taken and then find some talent scouts. She needs a back up plan though in case things dont work out for her.

Why not? Modeling earns you a TON of money. I did one modeling gig for a day and earned $550!!
