yes i am alone, but really i know my dad is always here with me, hes no longer alive, but hes always on my mind....and sometimes i get a whiff of his aftershave. When i think of him at work the radio plays a song from his funeral. When we talk about the mounted fish he caught that hangs on my wall the front door swings open. One night when i was crying in bed, i felt his hand brush the tears away. Some people may say i read to much into this stuff, but i know better.

I'll try not to type a novel here:
I am by myself, but I am not alone in that I am incredibly blessed. The friends I have in real life, the wonderful people I keep in touch with on Yahoo, they all seem to continually amaze me. What have I done to deserve such wonderful people in my life? God is good, that is all I can say.

I love my family with my whole heart, but I have always felt slightly different than everyone around me because of my deformed right ear, which gives me a different slant on life. You could say I'm by myself, but I'm not alone, and I'm not lonely. Makes sense, right?

I am by myself at the computer in this room, but I'm not alone. My wife & 2 dogs are in the next room sleeping.
