Right click and delete........Ask them to take you off their list too....Or if they still IM you, just don't answer them, But than you can click ignor and that will block them....

Depends on the IM client that you are using. But as a general rule, right click on the name and select delete -- if you want to prevent the person from IMing you, make sure to add him to the blocked list as well.

right click on the person's name in your buddy list. a little menu should appear. somewhere in the list should be the option of "delete" left click on it. it'll ask you if you really want to delete that person, click yes. presto, deleted!

Right click on their name and DELETE. But, understand that they will still have YOU on their list.

Right click and find delete or press a buddy setup. (If you have the old AIM.)
