What should my blood pressure be?

If I'm 6'5" tall and 300 pounds? What formula is used for determining it.

Nothing to do with height or weight. A healthy male should have a blood pressure of 120/80. It used to be thought that it was normal for the first figure to increase with age, but they have now determined this is not true.

I am 55, and my blood pressure has been between 110/70 and 120/80 for the past 35 years.

If the first number is high, this indicates that your heart is having to work very hard to push the blood around your body. If the second number is high, this indicates that there is a lot of pressure left in your blood vessels between heart beats. Blood pressure should be 120/70 mm Hg or lower in an ideal world. Blood pressures are classified as normal if they are 120/70 mm Hg or less. Prehypertensive if they are 140/80 mm Hg. Stage I Hypertensive if they are 160/90 mm Hg and Stage II Hypertensive if they are 180/100 mm Hg. Anything in the prehypertensive stage should be referred to a physician for possible pharmacological treatment or modification through diet and exercise.
