Well, on Oprah, he stated that there were other people trying to control the content of his show [and, I guess, other stuff related to the show] & he didn't care for the way they went about it. So, he left.

A regular show is a lot of pressure and I don't think he could handle it. Creative people don't like deadlines.

Cuz he wasn't going to be bought by "the man". Money didn't eman anything to him if he couldn't have the freedom of his creative mind!!!
