im 18 and pretty much out of all my friends im one of the only ones who's saving myself until i find that oh so special someone. of course they often tease me about it saying things like, "what are you waiting, that's crazy" but i do so becuz i wanted to be different and hold onto to mine becuz its something special, that once i place my virginity into to hands of someone else i'll never be able to get it back no matter what

so my question is are there still people around who are actually saving their virginity until their married or at least until they've found that special someone? how old were some of you guys when you 1st lost it?

I am so proud of you for holding onto your virginity...I am doing the same thing (I'm 17), and it's pretty awesome. It really doesn't seem like a lot of other people hold the same standards so it can be hard, but it's totally worth it in the end! I mean, what better gift could you possibly give your husband? When someone teases me about still being a virgin I tell them "in a single night I could be just like you. But you, you can never have what I do again, ever" It's such a special thing, so stay strong and keep holding out for that special guy. He is out there waiting for you!

1st off ur friends r douchebags
prolly sluts too

saving urself is a personal decission and they shouldn't make fun of u jes cause they will **** anyone and don't care

i didn't wait for marriage but i did wait for that special someone
and were gettin married anyway

and ur right once u give that up no matter what its gone and can u can never get it back

so it shouldn't b some one night stand or drunk ****
but something u'll remember and cherish as sappy as that sounds

plus u don't want some dick who jes wants a **** and doesn't care

u want someone who is gonna b gentle and understanding of how much u must care for them to let them be the 1st

in my opinion lossing ur virginity in like the 9 th grade jes b/c u think its the cool thing to do is the biggest mistake of ur life and most girls who do become sluts and end up on welfare w/ lill ones running around

and believe me i kno my sister is the image of that

and ur friends must b really crappy to make fun of u

none of my friends said anything to anyone else about when one of us chose to lose it and if we didn't

so mayb u need better friends

There are some who are still saving their virginity until marriage. I was 18, but not married or engaged -she was someone very special to me, but it didn't last (though we were together for more than 3 years after that).

I wish I had waited there is nothing wrong with waiting. my 17 daughter has been with 2 people and she really regrets it now with her new boyfriend that is a virgin. He kinda has a problem with it but they are working on things. Like some one else said follow your heart. I really think most people wish that they had waited. I think You are a very special person and you should be proud of yourself.

it really is a smooth difficulty for me. I not in any respect even had an danger to lose it till i became 21, and finally did at 22. It wasn't a lot that i wanted to, yet I resent that I not in any respect had a call about it. highly when you consider that human beings in my age crew (those that grew up contained in the '80s) supposedly grew up in a decadent era.
