I recently sold a few formula checks on Ebay that were close to exp. & I knew I wouldn't use, I found that there are people who buy hundreds a day, it can't be for personal use. The buyer of mine purchased over 1000 in a month! Do the companies buy them back or what, I found it very strange!

They cut drugs with the powdered formula.
I was talking to a grocery store associate and she told me they required the customer to ask for powdered formula because they were having so much of it stolen, and I inquired as to why and that is what she told me. I wouldn't have ever thought people would steal it for that purpose.

I don't know about the states where you all live, but here in SC grocery stores can't even put formula on the shelves in large quantities because it gets stolen. When we go to buy it we have to ask for it at the checkout, or the service desk. People break into grocery stores here just to steal formula.
It is used for making drugs.
NOT saying that's what the people who are buying the coupons are doing. Just a thought that came to my mind when I saw that people were buying over 1000 coupons in a month.

I buy for me and my friends and family. If that person has alot of mommy friends and children herself on formula, I can see why.

formula is very expensive, maybe they are using them for themselves, or towards a gift for someone else..I know of a church in our area that bought several like that and offered them to parents in need of help.

Maybe there is company buyback but I am willing to bet that non-profits, shelters, etc. pick them up for their clients to use.
