I have to agree. We can't worry about offending others. We are IN AMERICA. If they don't like our traditions and Holidays they can go back to their own country!

Well, there goes another holiday (as we know it); can't say 'Merry Christmas' (say Happy Holidays); Hallowe'en is now 'Fall Festival'. I wonder what will be next.

It's CRAP!! But, it doesn't surprise me. Every single day I get up and ask myself this question, and I've been doing it for years now: "What are they gonna do today to blow my mind?" I am sad to report that everyday they have blown my mind. Now on a brighter note. I will not disclose where this happens except that it is happening in the U.S...believe it or not: There is a school that still puts up on it's marquee (sp?) "Happy Easter", "Easter Break" dates, "Merry Christmas" and "Christmas Vacation" dates, etc. So maybe there is still a bit of hope left here. Just don't EVER give up. WE will win. I just pray it does not have to turn to blood-shed.

nicely, I agree that it is surely rediculous. yet i don't see why it rather is had to deport each and every physique who isn't comparable to maximum individuals because of this. i'm so unwell of listening to how immingrants, even for this reason criminal immigrants, would desire to be deported basically for being diverse from maximum individuals. And sure, there is freedom of religion right here, meaning that it rather is unconstitutional to deport absolutely everyone in simple terms because of the fact they seem to be a muslim. even nonetheless, maximum folk might in all likelihood help deporting muslims considering the fact that each and every physique interior the U.S. seems to despise muslims and anticipate that they are all terrorists. i'm shocked that the college district surely cares what muslims think of, given how person-friendly hatred for islam is. As Kermit said alot of Christians don't celebrate Halloween. I am a Christian and although it may have evil conotations....it is a TRADITION in our country! I agree with those who are pi**ed off. I am SICK of this!!!! I want my children to have Christmas vacation NOT winter break, it's Easter vacation NOT Spring break...for God sake ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!

It's not just Arab-Americans. A lot of Christians do not allow their kids to participate in Halloween activities.
