I had the pleasure of pulling up beside a little fiery red sports car the other day on the highway. After yelling back and forth with the driver and seeing his vanity license plate, the car is a '62 MX'. Its a convertible, resembles an MG, honest first impression was how it reminded me of Austin Power's Union Jack 'shaguar'...
He told me it was a kit car, built it himself from the ground up.. it was a sexy little thing!

Any ideas? The only MX anythings I know graced the road courtesy of Mazda... and kit cars are something I really dont know much about. Would love to learn a little if anyone wants to share!

Thanks!

Not sure if this is right for your answer, but the old Mazdas MX-5 is now being used as the base for British sport car kit cars.
