I like it too! Its just sometimes it tastes like soap to me.

Oh no! Cilantro tastes good. But even better when you accompany it with food of course like some fresh tacos of carne asada! And when it's in salsas! Umm! Now I'm hungry for some tacos with cilantro and salsa!

Don't know exactly how to describe the taste, but I don't think it would be like soap. We use cilantro everyday. Sometimes I even use extra, cause it's awesome. Besides, did you know that cilantro has been known to help prevent food poisoning or keep food from spoiling, or something like that? Anyway, it's a great thing!

not really. I love cilantro but everyone I know hates it. to me it tastes like freshness itself.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants changed management and when we dined there afterwards my food was horrible - it tasted like it had soap in it. My husband tasted it and loved it. When I tried his - it was the same (soap tasting). Therefore, the new chef obviously chose to cook with quite a bit of cilantro. It is not a taste that I like; therefore, avoid it if at all possible. On the other hand, my daughter and her family love it. So who is to question the taste of others. Anyway, I agree with you, it tastes like soap to me.
