No. The UN & the European Union are currently attempting to strike a deal with the president of Iran in trying to pursue him to give up his country's nuclear ambitions. There is an interesting article in Reader's Digest, (August 2006-"Iran Threat What you need to know") I believe will give you a better perspective on what is Really going on with Iran and what is Not. Remember that the Media is not always such a reliable source for accurate information.

Iran is the biggest drama of all. Tehran alone has 30,000 Zionists and many synagogues and not a single mosque for 22% Suni (Main stream) Muslims there. According to sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 70,000 Iranians from Isfhan will be with anti Christ (Dajjal). The USA embassy hostage was a joint drama of Zionists in Tehran and Zionists in USA. The USA Gvoernment latter gave green cards to the hostage takers. That was the reward for defaming Islam, which striclty prohibits any ill treatment to the embassies and consultates, for 444 days.
