I think most of them have good intent on what they say while campaigning. But once they are elected they find out that they cant always do what they promised. Also they have to have the coorapation of Congress for a lot of what they want to do.

Of course they do! I was a History/Politics joint major in University. I did that with the hope of getting into politics someday. Afterwards I became so cynical of politicians and their greed I decided I could not be that kind of pathological liar. Nor could I be the kind of Hypocrite it takes to be a "good" politician.
The way they get elected now is they say they are not like the rest. They are a Washington outsider. But then they become just like the rest. There is no big difference between the Bush's and the Clinton's. It is just one family is called Republican and the other Democrat.

They're fine in the beginning and then there's the Neoconservative pressure that they cannot stand to bear. While lazy, tv citizens look the other way, they're on the hot seat something bad and no one is supporting them
