will it ever be possible to stop people from dying, as death and the processes of the body that keep us alive, all come down to chemicals, which scientists could eventually put back when those cells die

Yeah I think, the way that things are shaping out, immortality will be inevitable, but only for those who can afford it. Immortality will be at a price and not just a high price in Pounds either,i think personally that its going to far, some things just shouldn't be altered ,but hey man, rest your head about it...because you and me both will be pushing up the daisy's for sure before anything like that's even began.

I doubt it will ever be possible to stop death. It doesn't all boil down to chemicals. They may eventually find a cure for all types of cancer but I believe there will always be heart disease and transplants aren't a good protocol for the elderly. I also believe that once they finally figure out what causes heart disease that people still have the ability to choose and won't often make the right choices. This would apply to other diseases as well including diabetes.

If you could live 150 years... would you want to?

No it will never be possible to live forever because the body will find a way to die eventually. The possiblity of living longer, possibly much longer is there though. Question is how much would this cost and who would get it. It probably won't happen in our lifetime though because it's an enormously huge problem with many facets. Go to school and become a researcher to help us find out.

That's a deep question. I don't think we'll be able to stop people from dying...at least in the next 500 years.

I don't think it's a good idea. Death is a good thing...it keeps evolutionary processes at work and keeps "new blood" on the planet. To avoid death would be to stagnate the gene pool, this is not at all healthy for our species.

YES

with the powers US, WE, humans possessed, of our minds, nothing seems so impossible to do as long as they fit to the laws of the sciences and nature.

With so many scientists, so many brilliant minds, who specializes in different areas of knowledge, we all come to broader and broader territories of knowledge.

I think it is possible, the question you must ask is "WHEN"?

Every possibility has a moment for it to rise, when the time comes for us to defy death, then it is only a matter of "CHOICE" for "US" when we want to leave our bodies, material bodies, and move to the next level of existence.

Say, "YOU CHOOSE / WANT" (you choose, you want, choice and want, synonymous) to live for a thousand years, you can, then finally CHOOSE to die, die in a sense, only your body, but "YOU" continue to "LIVE" somewhere in another plane of existence that i cannot describe, because no facts can prove.

All of these, only possible, IF and ONLY IF, the LAWS of the Sciences and Nature give them the blessings to be so.

It is the laws of the sciences and nature that we, humans studies and manipulate, so we cannot contradict the laws.

All will boil down to the "CHOICES WE HUMANS MAKE". We can talk about anything, by talking to each other, we can AGREE and/or DISAGREE on the "CHOICES" we will make for a certain situation and/or problem. and as a law, the MAJORITIES decision will hold TRUE for eternity.

GOOD DAY!

I would believe that life may be exteneded for longer periods of time, but I doubt it would actually halt the death process. Perhaps we will live for several hundred years instead of a singel century, but the life span of a cell is still limited, and some cells may be harder to "replace" than others.

I am sure that it will be possible to find a way to regenerate cells so that the aging process is either halted or reversed. Maybe people will be able to live forever but the question will then be should they be allowed to do so.

Abortion will be legal in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is incorrect and evil and outright homicide to an innocuous unborn baby. imagine about it that kid will not in any respect see sunlight hours or snort or experience a bike or get excitement from having acquaintances or recognize the affection of a figure. This unborn baby will not in any respect recognize the flaws that we take with no authentic interest in our accepted lifes. Plus that kid is torn to products in the course of the abortion it really is between the recommendations it really is killed ripped limb from limb. So hence i imagine stem cellular analyze is misguided also. in spite of everything you've already brought concerning the unborn toddler a lot distress and soreness and brought it really is life from it so a minimum of go away their undesirable bodies on my own. Abortion and Stem cellular analyze are only yet another truly one of mankind's vile and vicious and evil issues. I pray that God would have mercy on all of human beings that get abortions and characteristic had abortions. i'm satisfied that those undesirable toddlers will stay with him and heaven always. i'd no longer make it there myself who's conscious yet a minimum of they could. in order that that you recognize no baby is an twist of destiny all of them come right here with a purpose yet some not in any respect have the danger to satisfy there purpose using cruelty of mankind. faster or later it really is going to come to bypass that we'd could account for the flaws we've carried out and on condition that we are fairly sorry and regretful for those products do we be forgiven. i recognize that there are some who will see this in a unique way than me which contain atheist and human beings of non-christian or perhaps some christian religions in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is fantastic contained in the top of time it might want to come to bypass that what i have self belief is misguided yet i do not care because i'm satisfied for now. properly there you've my opinion.

I honestly believe that it is possible and they scientists know about it, but aren't telling because Death is part of life. People come and people go. People get old and tired. It controls the population.
