well not much more details other than there was a pool about 12 ft deep, there were several people in the pool that seemed to be restrained at the bottom. someone threw in octopus's and I see two small octopus go in her mouth,EEWW!!! not only that, there was a great whits shark swimming in the pool as well. I was terrified. what would this signify??

Pool = your social life
Octopus = your fear of being opened up
White shark = high authority.
It seems like you have some issues in social life due to the fact that your family or some high authority figure may be against to. Projecting this in your dream to show you your fear of being with people. Perhaps you are a shy person in your social life.

You are in a confined area (work), The people probably represent co-workers on their own deadend job (at the bottom of the pool).
The octopus is your boss. He probably fires a lot of management-to-be people. (eating his young) The shark is your supervisor. Swimming around you and the others just waiting to take a bite out of you.
