I have not price or difficulty limit but give me in depht on how to make thanks soo much! I want them to look professional, not crappy. When I say gifts I mean gifts, not related to Christmas Decorations. Any really good web-sites would help too!

How about making a quilt type of blanket....like those fleece blankets with the fringe on the ends? They're nice and warm and cozy! I love mine. They're easy to make, too.

I have made wonderful Christmas gift baskets that look very professional, and I personalize them for each person. I think about what the person likes, collects, favorite color or snack, etc.

I buy the shrink wrap cellophane and used clear cellophane tape to close it - then you use a hair dryer to make the cellophane shrink, which gives it that professional look. Then I usually put on a beautiful ribbon, bow and hand an ornament off the bow.

For instance - breakfast basket - gourmet pancake mix, special syrup, pancake shape makers (like heart shapes etc), special kitchen towels, spatula and put it in a really nice mixing bowl. Shrink wrap it, tie on a bow with a whisk.

Another example - Snack basket for a man - use a galvanized bucket (like you would use to wash your car), shreds, six pack of beer, nuts, chips, candy and a hand-held electronic game.

Anyway - I have done this for the last four or five years, and everyone always goes wild for them. Good luck!

A lot of women are getting into this scrap booking stuff that is
very neat and looks just as good as what you buy in the store
except you have you own personal touch in it for memories to come. It does not have to do with just books anymore.

For family, make some photo albums of special occasions, or blow up some great family pictures. That is something that will always be treasured. Of course food gifts are great too, candy, cookies, cakes, bread.

Here is a great website with lots of ideas. Happy crafting.

corn Cobb back scratcher, they work really well.

Halloween is comming, so shuck some corn, and trim the cobb to about 5 inches. Drill out one end, so that a dowl rod can be glued into place. Paint the dowl rod.

Try papier mache, the material costs nearly nothing and you can get phantastic results, especially if you finish with acrylic paint and glossy varnish.
You can make anything, from old fashioned dolls, over candlesticks to bowls and ornaments.

Try making some of your own scented candles. It really
doesn't run into alot of money. You'll be surprised how you
can create your own style. Its a fun experience. Just get
some books from a craft store to learn how to get started
and then use your own imagination. Its great fun.

One year I made a calendar for my friend using pictures of us, pictures of her and her boyfriend, and pictures of her and her daughter. I used high quality white construction paper, and each page was basically a scrapbook page. I even went through and put stickers for occassions on all important dates (birthdays, holidays, anniv., etc...). It took a lot of time, but it was very personal, and she loved it. I have also thought of making scrapbooks for people so all they had to do was add pictures.
