I love it when we get accused of being cissies and taritors because we refuse to accept that a great county like America should stoop to the lowest common denominator. Occupation of a sovereign nation is wrong,.... taking our freedoms through ill-thought out legislation is wrong....fighting an ideology is wrong.... abusing people's religion and creating religious wars is wrong..... arresting and killing known terrorists is RIGHT....irregardless of your political beliefs.

Yes, but it is more complex than that. Create an enemy to hate, take an "it's us against them" position, appeal to basic instincts like fear, pride, paranoia, love, anger, etc.... A bit of critical thinking and a healthy dose of skepticism are all the tools required to not be fooled.
