Geminis are usually compatible with other "air" signs- libra, Aquarius. Since they value freedom, they don't like signs that are "heavy" or possessive. So- earth signs and water signs wouldn't usually work out too well...

I'm a Gem, too. My ex-husband is a Sagittarius, so I'm really biased against that sign. My current husband is a Libra, and my two best friends are both Aquarians. Pisces, Taurus, Capricorn, Cancer, earth and water signs in general, really, don't mix as well with Air signs. Think about the elements that these signs represent. Air and air go well together, fire needs air to burn, fire can warm air. But on the other hand, Earth can weigh air down, water can cause too many waves. I think that most people can get along, regardless of your birthdate, but some get along better than others.

By the way I am born on 23rd of December at 2315 hours in Stockholm Sweden and my midheaven sign is 10th house of GEMINI.

Cancers and Geminis do not mix. Cancers tend to be sneaky. Gems are honest and mellow but if ticked off will bring out the evil twin. Scorpios are cool but tend to be clingy. Leos are great but they shouldn't get into arguments with Gems because no one will win. Just my thoughts. I'm a Gemini female.
