Well that was kind of a weird way to tell him that LOL but i think he might be in shock still... and who know he might like you that way to and is surprised that you said it... I would try to call or leave a message saying that we need to talk and find out how he really feels about the whole thing and go from there....and if stops being a friend just because of that then obviously he was not really a friend to being with....i would just try to talk about it face to face and find out what is really going on with your feelings

Youch! Sounds like someone got a little freaked out eh?
Give it a few more days and try to call him. Try to ease into telling him about your feelings. If you have only been friends so far this is probably quite a shock. Best of luck hope it works out

You can call your best friend can't you? Best friend ask anything like hey,why haven't I heard from you since I told you I love _____? If nothing else just call your b/f to make sure everything is "ok" with them. Good Luck and Congrats on being in love.

Maybe he's concerned that since you love him, being with you would be leading you on and he doesn't want to encourage you that way. I think texting such an important declaration may have been a mistake.

For one thing the word LOVE is frieghtning to hear for alot of people. How would you feel if your bestfriend just came up to you or called you and said they loved you. Think about and talk to him.

Well what did you expect? How would you behave if that happened to you out of the blue?
You rushed things. Now you pay the price. Sorry. Next time, take it slow.

Don't be ashamed. You call him and if he doesn't pick up just tell him that nothing is going to change with your friendship unless you don't want a friendship but a boyfriend.

Meet face to face, and ask him how he feels. However, I don't think it was a good idea to express your love through such a device.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

i think he must be confused how to maintain the new relationship of love with you directly . give him some time . i think he must be planning something good to represent himself as a new person in front of you. he may be wanting time to make himself a romantic man . good luck
