None, unless bad spelling is a Biblical sin. You could cheat on your wife and not be as horrible a person as a gay, according to some. Go ahead, disrespect your parents, worship a false idol, doesn't matter as long as you don't fall in love with someone of the same sex...I don't understand it, either.

I don't think gays are hated. That is a concept of the past that thankfully is less every day. Every family (whether they know it or not) has gay family members. I will be so glad when a gay family is as accepted as all others. It is such a neanderthal state of mind when gays are not accepted as everyone else. I don't really know what other sins attract equal abuse on Answers but most likely anything that is different from the face that prejudiced people see in the mirror each day. Also in case you are wondering, I am not gay.

Homosexuality and the Church are not fused like oil and water!
In order to discuss about homosexuality the best way is to leave Bible alone and the Church as a seperate secular institution. You can be a homosexual but dont mix up with the Bible because it has been clearly stated from the beginning. If Pope allows homosexuality, then the religion as a whole will collapse.
If all people to connect Bible and religious context, then we should apply the same concept to heterosexuals with abortion, contraptions, cohabitation, sex before marriage, adultry, capital punishments, artificial insermination and etc.
Unfortunately, we are humans and we are in the 21st Century. Religion is a secular institution which should be left alone only to people who have the real faith and devote to it. Otherwise, it will be hypocritical to anyone because nobody is prefect these days and MAJORITY not following the exact teaching of the Bible 100%. Dont mix up these 2! Leave religion alone regardless you are gay or straight.

I guess "detested" and "godless" means you have a problems with homosexuals which in that case I feel sad for you because it's not the norm if you took a poll of Americans today!

I wouldn't say hated, of course you have those ignorant people no matter what the subject. I have to admit I don't care for a gay relationship, but on the other hand I know it is just a fact of life and it is not something you learn to do.

I don't hate gays. I don't even dislike gays. Gays are the answer to overpopulation. If I could, I would give you a $75,000 annual tax credit for not adding to the global pollution of this planet thanks to your inability to breed.

Biblical sins? Consider the source.

very few. Eating shellfish certainly isn't. Having sex outside of wedlock or not to conceive isn't on here. People pick and choose their commandments and sins; which I think is kind of questioning God if you believe in Him.

We're equal opportunity abusers.

I'm straight and I'm the only one in my family who thinks it's OK to be gay. I'm really sorry.

i still don't see why god would hate thoose who are true to themselves. God is the ever accepting holy person. Why we can be forgived for murder but not gayness is beyond me.
