Jesus Christ
Philippians 3:7-9 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ — the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

Ok, I`m not anti-christian and believe in God, but having him as a role model? That`s unrealistic and cheesey. You could never be like God. Noone could. That`s why he`s God. How can you say that He is your role model? You should pick someone more realistic.......someone human like you are. As for me, I don`t really have a "role model" but there are several people I admire and appreciate. I don`t model myself after anybody. I am my own person and just try to live an honest and decent life.

having god as a role model is a little unrealistic... you could never be that perfect, even if you tried.

Well, I don't know if you can say he is a role model, but I try to do good as He wants us to. I have faith in him and I trust & believe but if anyone could be a role model it would be Jesus.

Well of course my number one role model is God, but God did tell us that its ok to have role models as long as they dont become like gods to you...so my earthly role model is my 2nd dad!

I don't have a role model, though there are people I admire.
If you seriously intend to pattern your behavior after God, you are downright scary.

Your role model should be your parents or your family but you should put god first. I agree!

Your role model is a sadistic mass murderer. At least he would be if he was real.
