Is the San Diego zoo free on Monday?

Every year the entrance to the San Diego zoo is free. On the first Monday of each year's October.I just do not remember if it's the first Monday or the second one. I want to be sure. Does anyone know??

Hello! It's the first Monday in October when admission's free (to celebrate Founders Day).
