My daughter is almost 1 now, but we have flown many times now. Our first flight was at 6 months. She was able to use the bassinet on the plane at that age. I found that giving her Baby Tylenol just before we took off helped. She never fussed over her ears and slept really well. But I made sure she was either eating or sucking on her dummy during take off and landing. If she was asleep I would play with her dummy taking it in and out of her mouth to keep her sucking. We have been on about 6 flights now no problem.

Have flown with small ones - make sure you have plenty of milk or formula with you and if the baby is using a bottle be sure to allow her to eat during take off and when landing. The sucking does something to make the pressure on the ears not hurt. And ask the airline to try and give you a vacant seat next to you so you'll have plenty of room with all your stuff. They'll save the spot next to you if they can and you'll be really glad if you can get the room for diaper changes, etc. Good luck to you!

Flying with a 7 month old should be fine. My aunt started traveling to Germany when her son was 6 months old. Right before the flight give her some tyonol to help with any pain the jets might cause her ears. She also would put wet paper towels in papercups and cover his ears...it would help keep his ears from popping as the altitude changed.

I have flown numerous times with small children and yes, it's ok. just be prepared for everything/anything and just know that she is going to be restless. Many people may not agree with this next statement but...Call your pediatrician and ask them if you can give her some benedryl to help her on the flight. It will help her sleep. She is not going to be comfortable not being able to get down and crawl arounf and explore so this will help you both!

I also have a daughter that eats by a feeding tube and we would desire to apply bottled water for her to keep away from making her unwell. We used nursery water whilst she became into decrease than 7 months because of the fact it has flouride in it. So does the Gerber water. After a year we use undeniable distilled water. bear in mind you have gotten a not common time getting on the airplane with water because of the fact of risk-free practices subject concerns. you will desire to be waiting to purchase distilled water there. i think of the lack of ability of flouride for a fast time won't harm in any respect
