"Times" suggests an integer solution; if so, the number of times 1 kilometer fits into 1 mile is once. If you include fractional values, then 1.609344 kilometers fits into a mile; this is an exact calculation (by definition).
This number is so close to the Golden Ratio (1.618033989) that the Fibonacci series can be used as a rough approximation; e.g., 80 kph is about 50 mph; 89 kph is about 55 mph and so forth.

Is this supposed to be a trick question or something?
Well, it is impossible for 1 kilometer to fit into 1 mile because a kilometer is bigger than a mile so this question doesn't really make any sense.
But if you're converting this, it'd be obviously less than one... but I don't know exactly what it is because I am not in the mood to do math. :]
Probably .6 something.

1 kilometers = 0.621371192 miles
just go to google and type in the first unit "to" and then the second
for example if you type in
"kilometers to miles"
you get
1 kilometers = 0.621371192 miles
if you type in "pounds to grams"
1 pounds = 453.59237 grams
try it, it is fun
