I never paid attention to Wierd Al,i never found him funny. I ran into his redo of chamillionare "Ridin Dirty",and it made me laugh(surprisingly). I'm an african american,i hardly listen to this kind of music, wich my friend would laugh at,lol. I listened to "White & Nerdy","Canadian Idiot"(i feel sorry for him when his cd gets released in canada),"Polkarama"(i found it quite nerdy, but it was funny to hear him sing all of these songs in polka style",Confessions pt.3(remake of usher, made me laugh like crazy),Right now i'm listening to his version of "trapped in the closet" titled "Trapped In The Drive Thru",this is funny as hell,i think a little higher of him now,he's gotten some respect from me finally, what u think of him?

I've always loved Weird Al. Honestly, I think it takes more talent to write a parody than the original song. My personal faves: Yoda, The Saga Begins and Amish Paradise. Check out his website - you can get a song for free there. It's a parody of "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt..."You're Pitiful." It's pretty funny. Blunt's record company wouldn't let him put it on the new album, so he's giving it away on his website.

I think it he is very entertaining, and since I am a child of the 80s, I always loved his parodies. He is still around while those he has made fun of, well, many of them, have disappeared.

He's an Entertainer, and in his own way, he is extremely creative. I've liked him since he's been around, though I confess, I don't listen to his music much anymore.

He's awesome. I love people who can parody things so well. My favorites include the eBay Song, Bimbo #5 and Can't Watch This.

He's a genius.

And as for "(i feel sorry for him when his cd gets released in canada)" -- don't worry about it. We're not hyper-sensitive when it comes to "patriotism".
