Yes it does and it helps relieve symptoms of a cold that already has a good grip on you as well. I have been using the Walgreen's knock off, "Walborne" ever since my wife brought it home last May. I always make sure we have it in the house and stock up when it's on sale. I prefer the lemon-lime flavor to the original. It almost taste like weak Fresca.

No, and that's why the FDA slammed them and made them stop with all the claims. If you want to increase the chance of staying healthy, you go back to what your mom taught you all those years ago. Wash your hands before you eat, and keep your hands away from your face and mouth otherwise. It's not what you breathe in that makes you sick most of the time, it's what you ingest. They sneeze, the germs land on things you touch, and then you transport them to your mouth. As far as "boosting the immune system" goes, that's best done long term with a decent diet. If you eat decent, you get all the vitamins and minerals the body needs to stay healthy. If you eat junk, all the Airborne in the world, and all the vitamin tablets you take still won't help a lot. Wash your hands, and keep them away from your face. Cheap, and very effective.

i really like airborne, i think it works well. i don't think it has ever kept me 100% completely from colds, but it lessens the length and severity. i would also recommend taking it while you are sick (it also makes me feel better then). good luck!
