WEAR, you WEAR things ... you might benefit from tuxedo slacks with a nice expensive top (Express, Limited style clothes) with heels that have a chunky heel. something solid you can walk on without being stiletto, maybe 1-2 inches at the most. If you go the pant route, just make sure the pants are tailored to only show the point of the shoe and just the slightest hint of heel (you don't want them too long). Have a nice crease put down the front and the back of the slacks. I wore this style to my freshman homecoming (and I am a petite and short girl) and I was able to dance all night and had a great time. Dress up the pant with a satin or sparkly belt if you need, but it's only homecoming, it isn't the prom or your wedding. I hate dresses and skirts too, but I do it right when I have to, and you'll have an outfit you can wear again.

You need to go shopping, buy a dress and some flat shoes. My daughter is dealing with the very same thing. I thought you were her for a minute but she isn't tall. She complained about having to get a dress. I said deal with it for a few hours. Her other option was to not go. You may like the way you look in a dress. I think you will be surprised that it isn't so bad.

You can buy a pair of dressy pants, and a sexy top. Buy a pair of heels. Roll your hair and put make up on your face, especially your eyes. This is an occasion to be a girly girl even if it is not your standard garb.

i hear ya, but I've adopted to skirts. depending on what ur uncomfortability with skirts are:
long skirts
skorts (skirts with shorts underneath)
or nice pants and a nice shirt
I am worse... trust me, I dress like a boy majoridy of my life...

Is your homecoming formal or semi-formal. There are outfitts that have pants to them in the same clothing section as the formal dresses. You just have to find them. They have them both formal and semi-formal.

These would look cute on someone with a thick and tall stature.
You could try long gauchos with a dressy top!

A nice belt added would look even more dressy...

If you are going to wear gauchos try wearing small heels, they always look best in heels small or big...

The first two are shorter dresses, you could wear them with matching leggings.
