were six foot two and six foot three, niether of them monded my five foot nine height. My current guy is five ten and six feet with his clogs on. But I have indeed noticed him checking oit short women alot!
We are married and have a kid and so this is bothering me alot, other than the two men I dated before any man I know of who is taller than me prefers a short women, why? It looks bad in pictures!

Everyone has certain types they are attracted to. I'm taller than my husband, and he's fine with that. Maybe your husband is insecure about his height and it has nothing to do wit yours.

Too short, Too Tall ....Nuts...its the person in the suit that counts ...try to pick the big guy (mature, evolved) he will not care about your shoe size ... just the size of your heart. Dont just pick the tall ones ... pick the good ones ..... some of the sweetest things in life are small .... conversly ... some of the best are big too !!
The tall guy thing has some validity in a sub concious selection method ... just like alot of women choose taller men because they look for a man who reminds them of Dad. (the kid always looked up, Cause he was taller) ..... same goes for guys and the Mom figure ..... Choose carefully .... make sure he knows your not his mother ... but one hot momma !

my personal experience is that short guys some time have low self esteem. There is that need of some guys to be dominant and if they are the same height as their woman or shorter they feel inadequate. Put on some heels and go out with him if that bothers him you are in for a problem.

First, he's probably not looking because they are short; he's looking because they're attractive (the shortness is a coincidence) and he can't help it.
Second: HIS LOOKING AT THEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!
It's NOT because he thinks that they are more attractive than you; it's NOT because you're tall (5'9" isn't really that tall anyway); and it's NOT because you're "not enough" ("aren't I enough?" is the question women always ask and it drives us nuts!).
He looks because he can't help it.
It's in his genetic code left over from when we weren't much more than animals. Back then, we had to sleep with any woman who would let us just to spread our species.
Now we don't need to do that, and the urge to screw every woman in sight has become a mere glance at the occasional cleavage or nice butt.
This is why almost all men (single or not) like porn, strip clubs, cleavage, and other various "wandering eye" activities.
In other words, what he's doing is normal and you have nothing to worry about.

The short one look like they are not good enough to protect physically the women for sure. Second they feel smaller in self confidence to look up in the girl eyes. They feel like little boys and Mom look on them what they are doing.
Some like tall women. Every one can see he has a women, she looks more to be see as a women. She is the some of proud of man she is tall -, elegant and very visible for every one . First people look on the women later then see her man and when they look on him he can be happy "owner" of the women and more more ...............................

I like women, simple as that, tall short, thin heavy dark light blonde, brunette, rehead, or any combination of colors ( even silver) Maybe they are intimidated, personally at 5'8" it doesnt bother me to have a woman I can look up to.

Haha. Well, I think it's because men prefer to look "stronger,athletic, and man of the house" Some people don't think it's becaues of that, but I do. THey like to mean more than the girl. I think it's really weird now that you mention it!!!=)

I don't think your problems are height related....the way you describe your "guy" and your sensitivity to his checking out shorter women, it sounds like there are other issues going on....maybe a good counselor could help, good luck

Just remember when you fret about who he checks out; he married you!!! He can look, just not touch. Have the comfort in your heart that he comes home to you. As far as it looking bad in pictures, keep a conscious mind to position yourself in a slightly lower position, or lean into him more. Worry less about how you look to society, and how you feel about each other!!! You can't change your height, just your heart.
