i think i'm pregnant but every hpt i take it still says negative . 5 days before my period was due i got a little spotting...that lasted for 3 days.......i think that was implantation bleeding,i am now 6 days late. and it still says negative, has that happend to ne body u know .......they were really pregnant but the hpt still saying negative. im taking a blood test in 1 week. i also have all the signs of pregnancy........my period is never this late...... it only happend 1 time and that was when i was pregnant with my daughter. so what do u guys think.....pregnant.......not pregnant????

You will have to have a blood test in order to truly find out if you are pregnant. Just wait.. You will know in a week if you are or not.

I am actually dealing with the same thing right now. I am always on time every 28 days and go for 5 day then stop etc. Last month i was one day late and went for 3 days, took two hpt both negative, then tried blood test also negative. Symptoms are getting more and more obvious and stomach is tighter and making pants not fit anymore because of stomach and hips growing. I have not been eating more or changed anything so i know i have not gained weight. I have in the past 8 days taken 3 more hpt and all were negative and i am now 4 days late with no signs of starting. Monday i am going to call family planning and schedule another blood test. I have heard others say this happened to them and then at 8 weeks it turned out positive in the Doc's office. We really want a baby to add to our family, I wish you luck!! you could very well be pregnant. HPT tests don't always measure every woman the same, you have to have a certain amount of HCG (the hormone these tests detect) in your urine for the test to register positive. Many woman don't make enough of this hormone at first to register on a urine test. The blood test will be much more accurate. If by spotting, you mean very very light spotting (not enough to wear a tampon) then you may have experienced implantation bleeding. If there was enough blood to need a pad or tampon for all three days, your period may have just come early. My guess is that the blood test will tell you what you need to know. best of luck to you

There is a good chance you are expecting. I did not show up positive on a hpt or any urine pg test until I was 4 months pg with my son. Everyone is diffrent and every pg is diffrent. Right now you could just not have enough of the pg hormone to show up in a hpt. I wish you the best fo luck and I hope you get the answer that you want when your blood test comes back.

I wont guess because that does no good but I can tell you that stress can make your period late and other lifestyle factors so I say just wait until your blood test. If you must buy some more pregnancy test just get the cheap ones so you don't waste a lot of money. Done that!

Can't know for sure without blood test but a home pregnancy didn't say I was pregnant with my daughter til I was 3 months along

I'm going to take a wild guess...you could be. Maybe it's the time of day that you're taking the test and maybe you don't have enough of the pregnancy hormone for the test to be positive. The blood test will definitely tell!

I think you are making yourself late by worrying. If the HPTs say negative, you can safely assume you are not.

any change in horemone can make your period change. those three days of spotting were probably your period.
