I personally LOVED the Avent bottles. they have a "colic reducing" nipple and I found it easier for my son to suck using that bottle. they are fabulous bottles but a little pricey. Target has their brand of bottles that work just as well as the Avent but its really up to you. I think I saved maybe $3-4 on the target brand bottle. But it also depends on your babies preference to nipple types. Good luck, I hoped this helped.

I personally think that Dr. Browns bottles are the best, especially for colicky babies...they really do help. I think the top two brands are Avent and Dr. Browns. These can be bought at Babies R us.

I like the Playtex Avance. They have special bottoms to reduce gas and are angled kinda like a hamster water bottle. They work great. Now that my daughter feeds herself the angle makes things much nicer. She doesn't need to hold the bottle really high to get the last few drops. I got them from Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.

definitely the Avent bottles. I have 3 kids and I nursed for the most part and used bottles on occasion. It is the only one they would drink from.

I bought every bottle mentioned above, My baby refused every single one, I had to nurse her for 13 months, she will drink from a sippy cup. Introduce the bottle as soon as possible, I had no life for a year!!

Hated, HATED Avent! You'd think that if you tightly capped a bottle, it wouldn't leak. Not so with Avent. If you capped it too tightly, it leaked all over. So one out of every five or six feedings, we ended up with milk all over. Swearing ensued, had to change clothes, sheets, clean rug, fight with the bottle to get it capped just the right way..... dreadful. We like Gerber--no leaks so far!

I used platex for both my boys. The liners are great because you know that it's clean. Only thing is you have to remember to buy extra cause 2am is a really bad time to run out! (fyi: the walmart brand liners are just as good and cost a good bit less)
