Standing in line at the store today, I could sware I saw racism in a lady's eyes. Is this possible? A look of distrust, uncomfortable with, etc. Either way, it saddened me.

You can see EVERYTHING in a person's eyes - they reflect the true person from within!

It seems to be everywhere. What I don't understand is why there is the term "reverse racism". Wouldn't it be racism either way it goes? People are told things from childhood and begin to believe them if they aren't careful. Part of it is just natural human behavior, and some of it is society. It is something that needs to be dealt with.

The answer to that is Yes. As sad as it may be- when people roll their eyes, or sigh, it shows disgust.

I have a girlfriend who does NOT like white women who mess with black men. When she passes one in the store with her mixed children she rolls her eyes at the women and smiles at the kids. I think it is wrong but she has been hurt too much from black men who cheated with white women. She will never change her mind. Unfortunately.

Yes, I can see it in people's eyes, in addition to their actions and words. I have never understood racism. We all have the same color blood. We reproduce the same way. Our muscles and skeletons are the same. We have the same emotions. We feel the same pain. We die the same. What does it matter that our skin color is different?

i'd say it's a matter of perception.. what if the person won't look u in the eyes because they are shy and have a fear of rejection from strangers? i feel u can see anger, could be thier havin a crappy day nothin meant personally to u...u never really know unless u talk to the person...

I see it in cashiers who will not speak or look at me the entire time I am checking out. I, however, will provoke a conversation one way or the other...I will not be ignored in such a way.

That bums me out - yesterday while I was out and about, I saw nothing but kindness in everyone, it was really strange...maybe that makes up for it...but, maybe she just had something on her mind, people think I'm in one frame of mind sometimes depending on the expression on my face when in actuality I'm just pondering something again.....

I know what you mean & yes....that is quite sad.....I guess a way to look at it is this: she is the ultimate loser....the person she was giving the look to could have been someone she could have been great friends with.....

I think so. It IS sad. Some people don't even think racism is wrong. They don't always even understand why they're prejudiced against someone.
