i think i saw that a 30 second commercial on the super bowl cost $2million... if they can only get people to watch, and that's what ratings are all about.
and why would a pretty girl use a dumb avatar like you got now LOL, my dog has false teeth in his mouth!

The companies pay tons of money to run their commercials during a show. And if the show has high ratings then they pay more.... it's called advertising.

Game shows & talk shows are relitivly inexpensive to produce, pay the talent, and build a set, they make more than enough to cover that and the winnings from commercials, count them some time, then see how much time is adds and how much is show.

Sponsors & Advertisment, I wondered the same thing. It may seem like giving away $100,000 is alot, but it is not for a huge company.

those shows are actually cheeper than paying actors.
and they get it from the same places sponcers(comercials) stuff like that
