Buddy, you get to look however you want. It's her choice to like it or not. If she is wanting to change your looks what is the stopping point? Plastic surgery? Soon she is going to be telling how to act, who you friends can be, what kind of job you can have. Nip it in the bud. Tell her you are who you are, if she doesn't like it then hit the road. I'm guessing she will back down and you will get to remain you.

Get a new girlfriend... You are Greek and you can't change who you are.....

However, we had a neighbor who had a unibrown and everyone was making fun... So the neighbor got some nair and made it look like 2 eyebrows that nicely fit over 2 eyes. Neighbor was not such an eyesore anymore.. I am sure there are alot of Greek people who don't even have hair and thats not their fault either. So what happens in that situation? They are not really Greek? I have studied Greek before and I never ran across anything that says its a sin not to have a unibrow...

Did you not have your uni-brow BEFORE she was your girlfriend? What, did she just not notice it before?

I think there's a larger issue at work here. Too many people think they can "fix" other people -- and unfortunately, we women have a very poor track record with this. With your girlfriend, it's your uni-brow. With me, it's my husband's taste in clothing.

Your uni-brow is part of who you are and also has a cultural significance. I see red flags with this. If it was just a little thing (like, could you guys just learn how to put the toilet seat down once in a while?), I'd say do your best to be accomodating. But this is NOT a little thing. She is trying to change you in a big way, and that's a pretty controlling thing.

What will she want you to change about yourself next? Will you be willing? You need to talk this out with her. She knew what was right smack in the middle of your face before she ever looked at you the second time. Is this the only thing on her agenda? Best to find out now.

But you DO put the toilet seat down, don't you?

ya know what? she should like you for who you are and if she doesn't like your uni-brow, I'd tell her to either get over it and deal with it, or break up with you (if your starting to get ticked off). or you could try just explaining that it's apart of you and you feel that it would be an insult to your culture if you wax it and that your not going to change who you are just cause someone has a problem with it (and you shouldn't) explain that you're comfortable the way you are. just say what's in your heart and tell her how you really feel about the subject next time it comes up in a conversation! hope i can help make a difference! I think that's awesome that you like who you are and that you're comfortable with the way you look, cause that's very important, so that's great for you! way to go! also, you need to listen to dlobryan1. if she wants to break up with you over that then send her packing.

i admire how everybody assumed that the guy asking the question has a uni brow. different human beings do now not detect them that eye-catching, notwithstanding it is a private determination. If the guy isn't self concious or is happy with their seen appeal regardless of what they seem to be, then it extremely isn't undesirable in any know.

So you're walking around looking like Burt from Sesame Street huh? This is going to require routine/daily maintenance. Let her pluck them. Be careful not to let her arch your brows though. The first couple of times, it may hurt a bit but then you will get used to it.
She will enjoy it. Taking care of you and enhancing your good looks all in one!

I hate my boys eyebrows. Instead of waxing I just pluck a little bit so he has two eyebrows... You can pluck as much as you want or as little as you want!

If you like it, keep it. If you don't use tweezer, wax them yourselfs, or go to a salon and get them waxed.

It's not that big a deal; its just some hair on your face for Heaven's sake. Do you shave? No more should you make a big deal about this.
