It's possible you don't have the correct color foundation for your skin. When you apply foundation, it should disappear in the skin. The point of wearing makeup is to make your skin look flawless, not to make it look like you're wearing makeup. Also, consider trying a mineral powder foundation like Bare Minerals or Physician's Formula. These are easier to apply and harder to screw up than liquid foundation. If you must use liquid, try applying it with a makeup sponge or Q tips. This will help it look more even.

Try useing the trianglular sponges! Those help when putting foundation on! Also when applying the foundation take just a small blob and put in on then use the sponge for even coverage!

If I moisturized and immediately applied my make-up, I always had that problem. Of course some days with cream make-up, it still happened just because I have atopic dermatitis (flaky, flaky skin.) Anyway, I am switching to mineral make-up and it applies more evenly.

First of all your foundation isn't the right color. Before you put your foundation on apply moisturizer.

Um I have no idea...maybe your allergic...& FYI NEVER RUB YOUR FOUNDATION IN!! Get some foam make-up wedges and apply a dot of foundation on both cheeks, your forhead, your chin and your nose then gentally pat it around your face and stroke up and outwards.

I think you arent applying it correctly or youre not getting an even coverage, try applying it with a sponge and dont rub it in, it clogs your pores.

It may be in your application. You should smooth foundation on one section at a time until you have the desired coverage.

maybe you are using the wrong shade for your skin tone, it shouldn't be noticable. Try having your skin tone determined by a professional and help pick out the color for you.
