He used osama as an excuse to finish the war his father started in iraq. the war is not on terroism but about money and oil.

A standard strategy for catching elusive bad guys is to 'stop looking' for them. The FBI does this all the time.

Osama is hardly the highest priority target. He is more of a symbol now that al Qaeda is segmented into self-running cells. Al Zarqawi in Iraq was a much higher priority target because of all the damage he was doing - and he is now dead like so many other Al Qaeda leaders.

I am positive of this. Before osama became a major crimal threat he was a very sickly man. That is why we have no clue whether or not he is alive. He is no longer top priority because chances are his health is rapidly declining.

THERE ARE SO MANY CRAZY TERRORISTS THAT CATCHING OSAMA IS ALMOST IRRELEVANT.
ITS IMPORTANT, BUT IT WON'T CHANGE MUCH.
THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION WOULD HAVE PUT OUT A WARRANT OR SOME LAME MOVE LIKE THAT, AT LEAST BUSH HAS A PAIR........

i dont know if you've noticed the fact that bush suffers from foot-in-mouth disease.

he also said democracies dont attack other democracies. (my brain exploded when i herd him say this btw)

anyway, i actually dont think osama bin laden has ever been THE most important goal of america. he isnt the god of all terrorists.

Bush didn't want to kill him because he is Clinton's buddy.
Clinton saved Bin Laden's life 10 times because he wanted to be buddies.
Bush didn't want to hurt Billy's feelings.

he eluded the US.

The US thought they'd just jump into Afghanistan, get Osama and return heroes.
instead, thousands have died and they are none the wiser.
Although Bush would love to catch him, he has realised that he never will, and so says he doesnt care, simply to try and remove focus from the issue and regain some pride.
