How do you measure (or calculate) air resistance of an object using high school lab equipment?

Take the object you want to find the drag. Hang it from point via a thin rope like a nylon string. Blow the air. The drag will swing the object. Find the shift or the angle whichever is easier and the weight of the object. From these two one can calculate the drag using vertical and horizontal components of weight and the force
This assumes 2 things
The object does not create any lift
The string has very negligible drag
