yes her bf thinks turtles are cool.&seems like theres diff types! all of them must have water to swim in? i though they just walk on grass & drink water....

i wouldnt suggest getting a turttle, people say they are low maintnance. they are not. some carry deceasis, and are deadly, i had 5 myself, 3 died becus of the decease. u have to clean the tank every two days. and its hard, the tank must be AT LEAST 5 gallons. ur bak will hurt!! and u have to scrub the scum. yuk...so yah

Buying turtles is illegal in some states, such as New York. They can carry very dangerous bacteria and should not be handled by people.
I'd imagine that turtles are pretty low maintenence though...Your sister could by a bunch of pretty goldfish instead.

turtles carry salmonella and can be very dangerous from that perspective. Most turtles sold are sold illegally in this country.
Be careful of what you buy and from where you buy.

you're having worry with anatomy. learn up what and the position the fallopian tube is positioned... it really is not any longer what/the position you imagine. BTW, it "is" fertilized contained in the fallopian tube as you realize. Oh, i imagine i recognize what messed you up... the time period "egg from the ovary". The question is only supplying you with the starting place and not in any respect telling you that it really is fertilized there or develops right into a fetus there.

you should buy a turtle from a reputable pet store, and as far as turtles go they r pretty much low maintenance creatures....feed them, change the water in their tank......pretty much it.
by the way unless ur sis's boyfriend actually wants a turtle. she shouldn't buy one just yet as he may be left scratching his head,wondering wat prompted ur sis to buy him a living weight that just swims around and eats
