I have always been amazed at why people feel entitled to things because they label themselves "minority."
People cite their "minority" status for religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, complexion, sex, hair color (tell me blondes don't feel abused), education, age, musical preference, political beliefs, wages, etc.
What new minority status would YOU create to get yourself some Federal recognition?
I have always thought the "minority game" amusing since I fit just about every ethnic minority qualification while my poor white male hubby gets blamed for everything.

A very good example of this is India. Most political parties their are busy appeasing muslims who cite their minority status. But fact is they are probably the only politically significant majority group their as muslims are united. Hindus which make up the majority are too divided into sects.

I consider myself a minority because I am a nerd. I should be entitled to free spa treatments and self-help workshops in style, fashion and pop culture. Maybe even a percentage off retail on Tuesdays at the mall. Whadda think???

I don't think there are true minorities in this world there may be a lack of one particular race in one area but they make up for it some where else

The people who still read books and before the movie comes out know the book was created first minorty. I should be entitled to free popcorn and movie tickets to all book turn movie movies

I don't think it's fun to be a minority, especially when you're a little kid. Everyone always bullied me when I was a kid.
