he always smiles at me and I smile back and we talk at lunch and Iknown him ever since 4 thgrade and I am in the 6th now and today he e-mailed me and ask how is my weekend and were are like total good friends.

I believe that he likes you. I don't think he would have bother e-mailing you if he didn't like you because boys that age would have better things to do, especially during the weekend. So yes I do think he feels something special for you and he was thinking about you and that is why you received that e-mail from him.

well dont jump to conclusion that he may like you...but it could be that who knows boys are weird and they all have different ways of showing they like somebody... in this case though he just sounds like a very good old friend!

I am in 6th grade to. Yea i think he likes you, because boys only do that for certain reasons.

well im in the 8th grade, but either he really likes u or hes just one of ur really REALLY good friends =)
