In my neighborhood their are rumors of meth manufacturers. Up on the lines in front of apartment building are two pair of shoes hanging. Several months ago shoes were hanging and were taken down, now other shoes have replaced them.

Never heard of it, but tell me why the dealer wants to advertise the fact he's selling? Especially now that you posted it here! Ya know cops & DA's can read this too!

It's not true. Drugs are sold everywhere, and a more or less permanant sign like that is useless for such a transient 'business'. It's usually a sign that school is out, as students throw their old, stinky gym shoes over the lines in celebration. And they weren't taken down, they fell down when the laces wore through, and someone tossed some other shoes up there.

Sounds logical.

My neighborhood, and all others with that sign, is plagued with crime and social deviance including the distribution of controlled substances, a.k.a drugs.

What if they are flip-flops?

Ha ha i dunno if that's true but when we were younger, whoever passed out first from drinking and smoking we would take off their shoes and throw them over the nearest power line, So no i don't think that is true

I'm sure that drug dealers advertise. Hello policeman, come and get me. I to think it's kids playing around, just like when I was a kid.
