My boyfriend lied to me about where he went after our homecoming dance. He said he was going home but he went to a party and when i asked him the next day where he went he told me again that he went straight home. I know he lied to me because everybody told me that they saw him their. And something else I want to talk to him about is that hes always late for everything, I swear he'd be late for his own funeral. Should I talk to him about it or just forget about it?

You shouldn't angry on him instead you should show him that your heart broken because his lying and you lost trust for him. And you should let him know that you are sad and broken. It is the best thing you can make him feel guilty about what he did.
If you forget about this he will take it easy and it will become more worse to your relationship.
About his laziness you can't do anything and never blame him for that because, it is natural. some people are are naturally lazy like myself. People who are naturally/biologically lazy will never change. But if you try you will find that people who are lazy has some other very special qwalities and good things in them.
I myself is a very laziest person. And I know even I can't change myself though I hate sometimes myself for being so lazy when I loose something because of my laziness.

Dont me mad at my answer.. but I say leave him alone. So your boyfriend is late all the time.. So is mine.. he tells me he will be here in a half hour and about a hour later he is at my house... it happens. Guys are like that.. and yeah he lied after homecoming. he probley figured that you would get uptight about it.. Talk to him about it if he does it again... than have a talk with him..

There's nothing to talk about...he lied. There's a reason why he's lying. Leave him alone. Based on your situation, I only have to assume that you are young. You have time ahead of you, which means that there are plenty of guys out there that will do right by you.

yes, you should talk to him about it because he lied to you twice and there's no sense in that. you should be worth more than that to him. because if he's lying about something as petty as this then there's not telling what else he's lying about. but the late thing is kind of out of a guy's psyche, they just can't help that, but if he's crazy late then he's just an inconsiderate jerk and you should stop wasting your time and dump his butt

tell him that people said that they saw him at the dance.
if he still won't admit it, he's a loser and he's lying to you - something you certainly don't deserve. forget about this guy and move on to someone who appreciates you for everything you are, and won't compromise your relationship with lies.
if he does admit it, find out why he lied, and make him make it up to you somehow (guilt trips are perfectly acceptable)

Lying is never acceptable. Confront him on why he is lying to you. If he says he does it so that he won't hurt your feelings then explain that the lying hurts more than anything.
If the lying continues, there could be something more there that he is trying to hide. Honesty is sooo important in a relationship!!

I would tell him that other people saw him there. Tell him you were embarrassed because you had no idea what they were talking about and because you did not know and that you were his girlfriend and this made you look bad. Tell him that if he is going to go and party, that you are ok with it, but not ok with him lying to you about it. That is not right.

Did you have curfew and had to go home he didn't ??
Try to talk to him it is better to talk now than to wonder.

The bigger question is "Why did he lie?" If he lied to you about that, can you really trust him to be truthful?
