oprah has a magazine and a book club and has been in movies and has a show on twice every day. she does a lot more things than jerry.

When Oprah's show first started on the air, her show was seen only locally. After just one season or so though, she went national. After that, she broke from King World and started producing the show herself, at which point I think the financial heavens just opened up for her.
I really liked Oprah during the first several years of her show, but when I learned she was a billionaire, I felt I just couldn't relate to her. Now, I'm just happy for her with the success she has had and I'm back to just enjoying her shows. I love the driving across the USA shows she's airing right now. Funny, funny, funny.

Oprah's show is just a tad more classy than Springer. she has the upper class of marketers wanting to pay money for advertising spots on her shows... Springer, well you can guess.
More celebrities also buy into Oprah, she has several worthy causes... Springer.... not so much... get the idea.
If I were looking to pay money for my commercial to run in either Oprah's or Springer's show.... hands down you know who. Her demographics are exactly what most businesses want.
Unless of course you own Trojan Condoms, or DNA evidence store...... lol
