Need ideas for making him look bald besides buying a mask. We are going to paint his face greenish and put on alien sunglasses. We may end up spiking his hair & making it green too but you know, aliens ARE bald! Bonus if you can tell me how to make him bald & smooth or bald & wrinkly. Don't want to shave his head obviously.....

vasaline his head, then use paper mache to cover his head, let dry, and paint. Head will have an enlarged alien apearance.

A swim cap will work well. Might be harder to find this time of year, but I'm sure somewhere will have them. And that should be cheaper than getting an actual bald wig from a costume shop.
Or maybe some kind of tin foil thing over the head... maybe with antennas too??

Well, you could always shave his head.
Or, why not get around the whole bald issue by giving the alien some kind of headgear, like a space helmet?

My friend George Costanza is an expert on baldness. He says that you can actually buy "bald wigs" that look like a scalp.

there are skin caps available at most halloween (spirit ) stores etc. and then use a liquid latex to mold the seems around his forehead and face neck area to hide the cap edges , the liquid latex is great stuff for costumes and can be used for fake scars and boils etc.... have fun

I am on the site now and they have bald caps that are light weight.
I think thats your only hope. Maybe use spike harding gel and spray it green with big chunky spikes...

Slick his hair back with lots of gel, so it's plastered close to his scalp and they have temporary hair sprays that will go over it and wash out with the next shampoo.

They have rubber skinheads for halloween costumes, check with the costume store.
