They are too lazy to cut it and maybe it rots too quick for them so with all those preservatives, they can just keep it forever :o)

I buy both fresh fruit and canned fruit. But, I do my major shopping every two weeks. Fresh fruit may not last that long, and I we often have fruited jello desserts using canned fruit. Also, when autumn and winter come, the fresh fruit is usually not as good and I use more canned fruit. We live in Midwestern USA.

Not everyone lives in a city with a grocery store down the street.
We live in the country, and try not to run to town all the time for things. When fresh fruit runs out, we eat canned fruit til we shop again.

I grow apples. I know other people who grow apples too. My favorite locally grown kind is Ida Red. But Gold Rush, Pink Lady, and Yellow Newton Pippin are also good. You should never have to buy canned fruit if you live in the countryside because You Can Can Your Own Fruit. It's easy. You only need the fruit, a knife, some jars, water, and a stove.

Some people like to have a variety. If certain fruits are not available during the winter, then people like to get canned fruit instead. It's also easier to store canned fruit and it lasts longer.

Well person, fruit doesn't grow year round in my part of the country. When it does, we eat fresh, when it doesn't, we buy canned. Very simple isn't it?

Tinned mandarin oranges go very well in a salad of arugula, toasted almonds and purple onions.
One of the meals I will always remember was a tin of pears, a tiny block of cheese and a tin of pate d'homard (lobster) shared with three friends in the Gaspe penninsula. I don't usually eat canned lobster guts but the tinned pears made it delicious.
Every ingredient has it's time and place.

i'm confident that some flea markets have fleas! have not you ever been to one the position some stalls were overly filthy? You not in any respect recognize what's hiding in all that muck. And as well, human beings can regularly convey animals to flea markets, and animals are acceptable businesses for flea markets. i'd be careful...
