Do other countries even have such pledges?
Anyway, no, it isn't proper to pledge allegiance to another country, if you're not a citizen of that country.
Remember, the pledge isn't only to the flag, but also "to the republic for which it stands."
People shouldn't salute flags of other countries, but should stand in respect when, for example, other national anthems are sung.

This is a free country by definition, therefore if you would like to pledge allegiance to another flag, then by all means pledge away. I will always pledge my allegiance to my fellow country men no matter where I am visiting. But if I move away, I may re-consider. Why come to America to hate it? I just think that if you're in America because your country is not okay for you then maybe you ought to pledge to your new home. But, the choice is always yours in America...For now anyway.

Citizens of a country can say the pledge to their flag (if they have such a pledge) and they say that pledge wherever they happen to be.
It means nothing to the country where they happen to be.

it really is a delusion/misinterpretation. An American flag is flying over the Parliament homes on Canadian paper funds, isn't the case. The Birds sequence notes depict the admired maple-leaf flag became on the $2 notes. those "taken" by skill of the rumor were probable fooled by skill of the notes with the pink Ensign, because the flags are very small and not in any respect shown in complete colour, and the Ensign with its contrasting canton (any quarter of a flag, yet regularly skill the better left quarter, which contain the container of stars contained in the flag of the US or the Union Flag contained in the Australian Flag.) extremely resembles the yank flag.

Yes, it is wrong. One cannot pledge allegiance to more than one country. It's like having two wives or husbands and pledging fidelity to both of them.

All I know that Americans who live in foreign countries don't do this, so there must be something offensive about it.
