the closer it gets to having the baby you will see a spot to get darker and darker!!! the black spot is realy the babys eyes.. Pretty coool huh..

Sounds like she is pregant.. get ready for lots of babies!! And yes, you should get a breeding net, they don't cost a whole lot. My guppy just had 15 little babies, that puts the whole baby count up to 23. Haha Im going to have to sell some. Good luck!

Probably is pregnant, female guppies can store sperm for another 3 - 4 pregnancies after they have mated. so she will keep giving birth for the next four months without a male being needed. Sometimes you can see the eyes of the babies through the gravid spot on the female if you look closely enough.

Those are the signs of pregnancy. Go to the pet store and get a net breeder to seperate the fish from the babies, because the parents will eat the babies. Monitor the fish tank to see if there are babies. The babies are so small, so sometimes people never notice it and they all get eaten. I was lucky enough to have spotted the babies before all the fish ate them. my molly had babies.
