If he runs, do you think that he could handle his appointment as President and help pull our country back together? With the division we have now,who would have the intelligence, foresight, and ability to take on the problems America has at present? If you have another name that fits the bill, please tell us why they would be better for the job.

Leogirl, don't you know that Bush also supports illegals??
Well, John McCain is a good man, but i'm not sure how well he could fit the job as president. Couldn't be worse than Bush though.

I think McCain is ok... I just wonder if the Repubs will run him with all the friction in the party...

I lean toward Edwards or warner though...

Absolutely not. He won't even make it through the primaries. He is a RINO. It is too early to pick anyone other than mcCain or Rudy. I don't want either one.

Sadly,I can't think of anyone that I would even be remotely interested in at this time.Hopefully when the time of election comes,we actually have someone that is worthy of our support.

No..John McCain is not the man....
Steve Forbes would have been great but he will not run..
Maybe Condi Rice would be good....
I would rather have Joe Lieberman than John McCain and I am
a Republican...

The man has no integrity. Here he's gone and supported Bush's torture program. I will never forgive him for caving (not the first time, but this one REALLY pisses me off.)

That makes him a definite NO to me. (But then, I'm not a Republican.)
